By accessing or using the Liberate Care website at liberatecare.org ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.
2. Description of Service
Liberate Care is a platform that connects patients with qualified, independent physicians who offer cash-pay healthcare services. We facilitate introductions between patients and physicians but do not provide medical services directly.
3. Not a Medical Provider
Liberate Care is not a healthcare provider, medical practice, or insurance company. We do not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatments. The physicians listed on our platform are independent practitioners. Any medical decisions should be made in consultation with a qualified physician.
4. No Cost to Patients
Liberate Care does not charge patients for using our platform. Patients negotiate fees directly with physicians. Mentioning a referral from Liberate Care may qualify you for discounted rates, as agreed upon between you and the physician.
5. Physician Listings
We strive to list only qualified, licensed physicians (MD/DO) on our platform. However, we do not guarantee the quality, availability, or outcomes of any physician's services. Patients are encouraged to verify physician credentials independently.
6. User Responsibilities
When using our Service, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Not misuse the platform or interfere with its operation
- Not submit false reviews or ratings
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
7. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal information.
8. Intellectual Property
The Liberate Care name, logo, website design, and content are the property of Liberate Care, Inc. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without prior written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
Liberate Care is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Liberate Care, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to any medical outcomes from physician visits arranged through our platform.
10. Disputes Between Patients and Physicians
Liberate Care is not a party to any agreement between patients and physicians. Any disputes regarding medical services, pricing, or outcomes are between the patient and the physician. Liberate Care is not responsible for resolving such disputes.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
